Customer Care Service
Customer Care Service is often forgotten when businesses are busy finding new customers. Studies show that it cost four times as much to find a new customer than it does to retain an existing Customer, and a Customer Care Service is often seen as more of an inconvenience than an income stream.
Why an income stream you might ask? Well, when you call a customer to make sure they are happy with their purchase you are showing them that you appreciate and respect their valuable business, then, of course, you can upsell that existing customer a new product or service.
Offering this service to any business should peak their interest. Perhaps you could offer to write a Call Script for them, and when they approve it, you could routinely call everyone on their customer list on the business owners behalf.
Here is a starter Script that you can modify:
“Hello you are a current customer of ABC Business, and Mr. Smith asked me to contact you and find out if there is anything else we can do to make you happier with your purchase”. “Oh really, I am sure Mr. Smith will be delighted to know that you are happy, and he has empowered me to invite you to an open house BBQ next Saturday at 2:00 pm, I’ll be there myself and hope to meet you, Mr. Smith, bye for now.”
